Phoebe Moustaka - Co-President

Phoebe is a senior from Athens, Greece and Medellin, Colombia, who is concentrating in Economics and Public Health. She developed her interest in sustainable finance due to her international background and passion of using finance as a means to address climate change, driving change from within the system. She started at FSIcon with the Strategy team and is in her first year as Co-President. At Brown, she is involved in the Sustainable Food Initiative and the Hellenic Association. She spent last summer developing the ESG framework of a Private Equity firm in Greece. In her free time, Phoebe enjoys exploring new restaurants, cooking and going to Lagree.

Fergus Bolton - Co-President

Fergus is a junior from Edinburgh, Scotland, concentrating in International & Public Affairs and Migration Studies. Fergus’s interest in sustainable finance started with his family farm when he was young and grew while studying at Brown and learning about the power of financial institutions in driving systemic change. In his free time, Fergus is heavily involved in the music scene, participating in everything from musicals to a cappella.

Nathaniel Russo - Co-President

Nathaniel is a sophomore from New York City concentrating in Economics and Environmental Science and Studies. At Brown, he is an analyst with the ESG focused investment club SRIF, a volunteer with the campus-based local food distribution program Brown Market Shares, and a TA for the introductory Econ class at Brown, Principles of Economics. This is Nathaniel’s second year with FSIcon, serving as the Co-Lead of the Speaker Relations team for the 2024 conference. Nathaniel spent last summer as a financial analyst with Proto Care, a healthcare startup in Cape Town. Additionally, he has interned on the business development team at Brightcore Energy, a clean energy company, as well as with the New York League of Conservation Voters as a policy intern. In his free time, Nathaniel can be found cooking or baking with friends, exploring theater in Providence and Boston, and finding the best apple picking spots in Rhode Island.

SPEAKER RELATIONS

Isolde McManus - Co-Lead

Isolde is a senior from Westchester, New York concentrating in Economics. Her interest in sustainable finance was sparked after taking ENVS 1547: Finance and the Environment last year, and she spent last summer coordinating the partner network at The Alliance for Climate Transition. Outside of the classroom she serves as the captain of Brown's Varsity Cross Country and Track and Field teams. In her free time, Isolde enjoys exploring Providence coffee shops, attending live music, and snowboarding.

Olivia Castel - Co-Lead

Olivia is a senior from Chevy Chase, Maryland, concentrating in Applied Mathematics and International and Public Affairs. She became interested in sustainable investing after hosting panels about the global impacts of fast fashion throughout high school. On campus, she is on the events team for the Brown Art Review, an analyst for the Brown Consulting Club, and a member of Brown Circle of Women. In her free time, you can find Olivia in a coffee shop with friends or exploring art museums.

 

Naemi Ditiatkovsky

Naemi is a senior from Berlin, Germany concentrating in Environmental Science and Computer Science. She is interested in leveraging the tools of sustainable finance and data science for sustainable buildings and cities. The past two summers she worked in sustainability strategy for asset managers in real assets portfolio management. Naemi is currently a teaching assistant for “Sustainable Design in the Built Environment” as well as “Finance and the Environment” in the Spring semester. On campus she is also the Co-Chair of Better World x Design and the Co-President of the Brown Renewable Energy and Sustainability Society. In her free time, Naemi enjoys cooking with friends, sunbathing in parks, or reading about design.

Olivia Tingley-Kelley

Olivia is a junior from Philadelphia, PA studying Business Economics and Environmental Studies. She is an undergraduate teaching assistant for Crossing the Chasm Through Engineering Design, and is currently working as an intern for a solar development company in sales operations and marketing. Outside of academic pursuits, she is a member of the Varsity Women's Rowing team, and you can find her listening to music on the main green in her free time.

 

Bella Pitman

Bella is a senior from New York City concentrating in Environmental Science and Economics. Passionate about the water sector, she worked with the non-profit Freshwater Trust this previous summer as well as the PE firm Sciens Water the year prior. She endeavors in her studies to find linkages between water and the financial world hoping to use green infrastructure to better the United States. Outside of academics she is a Brown Outing Club leader, a member of the Women's Ultimate Frisbee team, and is an avid hiker and biker.

Rosie Yanowitch

Rosie is a sophomore from San Francisco, California intending to concentrate in International and Public Affairs. Rosie developed her interest in impact investing as a fellow at Girls into VC, a program dedicated to bridging the gender gap in venture capital. She is passionate about sustainable food systems and is a coordinator for the Brown Market Shares Program. She spent the past summer interning and living at TomKat Ranch, an educational farm investing in regenerative agriculture.

 

Marcello Rudofsky

Marcello is a junior from New York City pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Science. He is passionate about renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure. Over the summer he worked at NY Green Bank (a state-sponsored green investment fund) and hopes to support innovative financial solutions for the energy transition this coming summer. In his spare time Marcello backpacks, skateboards, and practices illustration.

Jason Fu

Jason is a freshman from Toronto, Canada and a prospective Economics and Urban Studies concentrator. At Brown, Jason is involved with the Journal of PPE and is on the Brown Daily Herald's business team. In his free time, Jason is an amateur tennis player and avid indie music listener.

 

Michelange Senat

Michelange is a sophomore from Newark, NJ studying Applied Mathematics-Economics. She spent the past summer as a Software Sustainability Intern at the Center for Computation and Visualization, investigating Brown's' supercomputer, Oscar, carbon footprint. On campus, she's the Head of Social Media/Marketing for the Black Consulting Initiative, a Research Assistant at the 3DIPA Lab, and Environmental Program Housing: North House's Co-Bulk and Social Media Coordinator. In her free time, you can find Michelange exploring different coffee shops around Providence or attempting to cook her childhood foods from memory.

Abby Berman - Co-Lead

Abby is a sophomore from New York City concentrating in Applied Mathematics and Environmental Science. At Brown, Abby is involved as a student mentor with the Young Entrepreneurs Program, a volunteer with Brown Market Shares, and as a peer adviser through both Women in Science and Engineering and the Meiklejohn Program. Outside of Brown, she works as the Sponsorship Manager and Producer for the CleanTechies Podcast. In her free time, she is often cooking or exploring Providence.

Tiffany Zhang - Co-Lead

Tiffany is a senior from Seattle, Washington concentrating in Economics on the Public Policy track. On campus, she is an active member of Bruno Finance Society, Students for Samaritans, and the Socially Responsible Investment Fund. This past summer, Tiffany was an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Raymond James in their consumer retail group. In her free time, she can be found trying coffee shops all around Providence and reading.

 

Tina Li

Tina is a junior from Longmeadow, Massachusetts, studying Applied Mathematics-Economics. She developed an interest in sustainable finance through her experiences in the fintech and energy & utilities sectors, having interned at lemon.markets, a startup in Berlin, and ISO New England, the region's electricity grid operator. Next summer, she will intern in investment banking at BNP Paribas. At Brown, Tina is an internal mentor for Women in Business and a teaching assistant for ENGN 0090. In her free time, she enjoys running and swimming at the Nelson.

Ece Cetintemel

Ece is a junior from Rhode Island concentrating in Applied Mathematics-Economics. On campus, she is involved with the Young Entrepreneurs Program, Brown Healthcare Investment Group, and F@B. In her free time, Ece enjoys exploring new cafés, spending time with friends and family, and discovering new music!

 

Rana Esmer

Rana is a sophomore from Turkey concentrating in Applied Math and Computer Science. She developed her interest in the Future of Sustainable Investing Conference (FSIcon) through her passion for creating social and environmental impact in the finance sector. She is also involved in the Brown Technology Consulting Club and Girls Who Code. In her free time, Rana likes to explore new coffee shops and unique stores.

Edward Yue

Edward is a sophomore from St. Louis, MO concentrating in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. He is passionate about technology and is looking to learn more about its future implications on the environment. On campus, he is involved with Brown Investment Group and Club Tennis. In his free time, he loves spending time outdoors, playing (most) sports, and trying new restaurants.

 

Alison Chen

Alison is a sophomore from Westford, Massachusetts studying Applied Math-Economics and Classics. On campus, she is involved with Brown Consulting Club and Women in Business. In her free time she enjoys going to cafes, making Spotify playlists, and reading.

Grace Zhong

Grace is a freshman from Sydney, Australia but attended high school in California, currently interested in studying Applied Math, Computer Science and English. On campus, Grace is involved in CCG, BTCG, SRIF and film clubs, particularly passionate about the intersection of the arts, tech and making impact. During her free time, she loves to cafe hop, travel, jam to music, learn new hobbies and hang out with friends.

 

Luke Abramowitz

Luke Abramowitz is a senior from New York City, concentrating in Sustainability in Development with an Entrepreneurship Certificate. He developed his passion for sustainable finance through various internships, including at Bloomberg’s GFANZ, where he analyzed climate finance projects and enhanced the accessibility of resources for global stakeholders. Luke has also interned at Tradeweb Markets, supporting ESG strategies, and at Newlight Technologies, contributing to sustainable material initiatives. On campus, he is the managing editor of the Optic Magazine, Brown’s first photography-dedicated publication. In his free time, Luke enjoys nature documentaries, running, and solving puzzles.

Lila Nottage

Lila is a junior from Nassau, Bahamas, concentrating in Business Economics and Environmental Science. This is her second year as a member of FSIcon’s Sponsor Relations team. Her interest in sustainability started with her upbringing in The Bahamas and grew as she was introduced to sustainable finance though her coursework at Brown. In her free time, Lila enjoys running, music, and spending time with friends.

 

Strategy And Operations

Ayo Lin Ince - Co-Lead

Ayo is a junior from Princeton, New Jersey concentrating in business economics and entrepreneurship. She developed an interest for sustainable investing practices through her upbringing in China and exposure to the financial sector through internship experiences. Beyond FSIcon, Ayo is a member of the Brown Consulting Club, economics teaching assistant, and entrepreneur.

Jean-Luc Depardieu - Co-Lead

Jean-Luc is a sophomore from Easton, Connecticut studying Applied-Math Economics. He is a member of Brown Investment Group and an analyst for the Derivatives Investment Group. As mentioned by MN8's CEO last year, he would like to see portfolios full of solar and other clean energies begin to outperform those of fossil fuels, which has always been a setback to gaining investor support. In his free time, Jean-Luc is either sailing, surfing, or enjoying a concert.

 

Mahi Agarwal

Mahi is a sophomore from Lucknow, India concentrating in Mechanical Engineering. She is eager to explore clean energy, sustainable finance, and social-impact entrepreneurship. At Brown, she is involved in Women in Business, Sustainable Business Society, and Brown Bhairavi. She is also Co-Vice President of the Indian Students Association and a TA for ENGN0032 (Intro to Engineering: Design). In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, playing music, going on food adventures, and petting dogs.

Jean Yu

Jean is a sophomore from Bellevue, WA studying Applied Math-Econ. At Brown, she is involved with Fashion@Brown and in the chamber music program. This past summer, she worked with the Brown Arts Institute as an undergraduate researcher. In her free time, Jean loves skiing and drinking tea.

 

Elena Salfiti

Elena is a sophomore from Amman, Jordan, concentrating in Applied Mathematics and Economics. In the past, Elena has interned as a Strategy intern at Bank al-Etihad and Abdali Hospital in Jordan. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, playing the saxophone, and exploring Providence.

Duru Huseyni

Duru is a Sophomore from Izmir, Turkey, concentrating in computer science and economics. At Brown, she is involved in sustainable investment, fashion at Brown, and consulting. In her free time, she likes to discover new places to eat around Providence, or practice her ballet skills.

 

Ruby Rose Carlson

Ruby Rose is a sophomore from Los Angeles concentrating in Economics and Environmental Studies. Her commitment to sustainability and leadership was ignited by her experiences as an avid hiker and backpacker, as well as being one of the first female Eagle Scouts. Ruby has further developed her passion through research at her high school entrepreneurship center and other esteemed institutions such as the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs and the UCSB Marine Science Institute. At Brown, Ruby actively participates in several organizations, including the Sustainable Business Society (SBS), the Socially Responsible Investment Fund (SRIF), and Women in Business (WIB). In addition to her academic pursuits, she enjoys singing and songwriting and aspires to produce and release her own music soon.

Tessa Tomkinson - Co-Lead

Tessa is a junior from the San Francisco Bay Area concentrating in Environmental Science: Sustainability in Development. This is her second year with FSIcon. Tessa spent the summer working at a sustainable Swedish startup, and is passionate about techonolgy-driven climate solutions. At Brown, she is is a member of the Varsity Women’s Crew Team, Brown's Advisory Committee for University Resource Management, and a TA for indtroductory Environmental Science classes. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, trivia, and watercolor.

Zoe Moustaka - Co-Lead

Zoe is a sophomore from Athens, Greece, and Medellín, Colombia, concentrating in Applied Mathematics-Computer Science and Environmental Sciences at Brown University. Her interest in sustainable finance was sparked by exploring how financial models could help solve environmental challenges. She is actively involved in the Sustainable Finance Initiative (SFI), Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP), and Club Basketball. In her free time, Zoe enjoys discovering new coffee shops and taking walks around Providence.

 

Sofia Benedetti

Sofia is a junior from São Paulo, Brazil, concentrating in Economics and History. At Brown, she is part of the executive board of the Sustainable Food Initiative and works as an economics tutor and mentor at the Sheridan Center. Last summer, she interned at FM Global, an insurance company in Waltham, MA. In her free time, Sofia enjoys exploring new restaurants, going to the gym, and spending time with her friends.

Mimi Tarantelli

Mimi is a junior from London, United Kingdom and Rome, Italy, concentrating in Economics and History. This is her second year with FSICon. This summer, Mimi worked for the previous Secretary General of the UN Ban-Ki Moon and attended many conferences on climate change and need for sustainable investment and finance. Outside of class, Mimi enjoys running, playing tennis or has recently started trying to cook and bake.

 

Brent Wong

Brent is a freshman from Berkeley, California planning to concentrate in Applied Mathematics and Urban Studies, and joined fsiCON to learn about the application of sustainable finance in urban design. At Brown, he is currently involved with Brown Opinion Project, Chinese Student Association, and Chamber Orchestra as a violinist. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, hanging out on the tennis court, and exploring the Providence area.

Maizy Nunes

Maizy is a senior from Newport, Rhode Island, concentrating in Environmental Studies with a focus in Sustainable Development. During her recent semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, she studied Nordic Impact Investing and Urban Planning. Maizy has interned in the past with an architectural design firm and climate tech award program, planning to work next in the energy sector on the renewable energy transition. In her free time, Maizy can be found chatting on the Blue Room steps with her friends or exploring new coffee shops around Providence.

 

Sofia Hernandez

Sofia is a freshman from New York City planning to concentrate in Environmental Studies and Political Science. She has long been passionate about environmental justice and conservation, and has previously worked as an educator at her local public garden, a farmhand in Maine, and a fundraiser for the Climate Change Superfund Act in New York State. At Brown, Sofia is also a member of Every Vote Counts, a section editor for The Sol, and a member of women's club basketball. In her free time, she can be found going on long walks, playing guitar, and taking day trips to explore New England.

Margo Donohue

Margo is a junior from New Jersey concentrating in Environmental Studies (Inequality) and IAPA (Policy and Governance). Having experienced environmental inequities firsthand in Hurricane Sandy, Margo has since developed her passion for sustainable investing, community-driven solutions, and law as means for alleviating structural inequalities. On campus, Margo is an Econ TA for Dr. Mallory, writes for Brown Undergraduate Law Review, and has served as Philanthropy Chair for Brown Women's Collective. In her free time, you can find her in the ocean, or on land exploring museums and searching for the best cappuccino in Providence.
